Friday Five // 6.19.26
Another week, a lot of not-so-dull moments!


Now onto FIVE things that matter (at least to me!)…
1. What I’m relaxing with…
Magnesium flakes in my bath. My mom gifted me a big bag at Christmas & this has become a third-trimester pleasure! It helps relieve sore muscles, reduce swelling & promotes better sleep. I just add about a handful of flakes to the bath & mix the water with my hands to help them dissolve. I also have been doing lots of legs up the wall & compression sock wearing to help with circulation.
2. What I’m adding to the recipe rotation…
This sub in a tub. My mom made it for us this week & I am obsessed! It seems super easy & has decent ingredients. We did omit the parmesan & swapped the pepperoncini for banana peppers.
3. What I’m loving for travel…
These organic chai tea latte sticks. Just add water or milk then froth or shake. Changes the game for when on the go. And they’re on sale right now.
4. What I’m eyeing…
This camcorder for modern-day home movie vibes. I’m seeing these all over my social media & think it’d be so fun to document our growing family. Home movies are my fave! The site seems to do regular sales, so I’m eagerly awaiting the next one to hopefully get it before baby comes.
5. What I’m doing for a festive touch…
Adding mini American flags to our window boxes. Grabbed the flags from Hobby Lobby & think they are so cute for the Fourth of July. Can even keep them up through Labor Day Weekend!
